What started out as a pleasant trip can rapidly deteriorate into a nightmare with a screaming, sweaty infant and a hot, cranky toddler. Babies and young children can get very warm and uncomfortable in the car: a situation that may lead to dehydration through perspiring. When you remove your baby from his car seat at the end of the journey, his back suddenly comes into cool air and this is when chills are likely to set in.

How does it work?

At any time of the year babies and small kids can perspire more than normal while strapped securely into their car seats. When baby's back comes into contact with the synthetic fabric surface area of the car seat, his natural body heat becomes trapped due to the shape of the car seat which, for crash safety reasons, is designed to enclose your child’s body. This trapped air heat up more and more, causing your child to sweat excessively sometimes all over but always around his back.

AeroSleep Anti-Transpiration Layer alleviates the heat discomfort generated by the restricted space, fabric and confinement of all baby car seats. Using the patented 3D honeycomb structure, your child is suspended on a layer of air above the surface area of the car seat allowing heated air to escape and cooler air to circulate.

Beware of imitations

Please note that the 3D honeycomb structure is unique to AeroSleep and the only such product with a patent for its special design and functionality. Other so-called honeycomb structures are inferior and collapse under the weight of a baby’s body and do not function as they claim: in fact, some can even add to the discomfort by creating more trapped heated air pockets.
